Caravela Lusa is rooted in the heart of the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region, nestled in a small and singular valley shaped by the banks of the Tâmega River.
Located at Casa do Portinho, a historic estate in Tuías, Marco de Canaveses, the property spans approximately 7 hectares of planted vineyards, on lands with centuries of winemaking tradition.
In 2017, we began producing our own wine, a project that quickly won over consumers.
Terroir is our greatest asset: rocky soils, a mild climate with excellent sun exposure, and native grape varieties come together to create a naturally fresh white wine, elegant and of outstanding quality.
True to our origins, we practise a form of viticulture that respects nature and preserves the authenticity of the region.
It is from this bond between history, land, and craftsmanship that the unique character of Caravela Lusa is born, year after year.
